PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT

One of the most important aspects of a PD&E Study is public involvement.

All PD&E Studies require a Public Involvement Program to inform and involve interested public officials, citizens and special interest groups in the development of the project. The Public Involvement Program starts at the beginning of the study phase and includes several methods to obtain input from concerned and interested parties along the project corridor. As the study progresses, input from the public will be used in the analysis of the various alternatives and in refining the viable alternatives.

An alternatives public workshop was held on September 22, 2011. Please click here for materials presented at the workshop.
