How Do I Get Involved?

In the very early stages of the design phase, you have an opportunity to be involved and provide comments that can affect the way improvements to US 41 will be built. Early involvement is essential. When the design phase moves past 30% plans, changes are extremely difficult to make. The Florida Department of Transportation will of course continue to inform the public about the project throughout the remainder of the design phase. The anticipated completion date of the 30% plans is noted on the project design schedule.

There are several ways in which the public can become involved:

  • complete the form below
  • attend the public meetings during the design phase
  • discuss improvements with the project team
  • contact the FDOT Project Manager

Project newsletters mailed to public officials and property owners near the roadway (and to anyone who would like to be added to the project mailing list) will update information about design plans. The newsletters also will announce upcoming public meeting dates and locations.
